I think the emerging campaign of squirting bad cyclists with water pistols is better
I’m a cyclist and honestly this is pretty funny
Been going too fast to notice.
If you find this offensive then that says it all 😉
Irony here being they’ll read this as they cycle by and miss the red
Comments will be hilarious. Some will say things like ‘Cyclists are angels that can can do no wrong and can run red lights whenever they want, car drivers are evil and anyone who drives a car should be locked up!. Meanwhile some will say ‘All cyclists should be executed if they ever run a red light – I hate them as I need to be able to drive my X5 around Soho with nobody in the way’.
This looks like Ludgate Hill, which is an absolute nightmare if you’re a pedestrian. It’s like there’s something in the air there that causes them to decide rules don’t matter.
If you’re a cyclist and you come here. Please, for the love of god, obey the rules of the road.
good! I was cycling in central london today and I was alone waiting at red lights as cyclists passed me, dodging people crossing the road. I saw a guy on a santander bike almost hit an old woman, another couple of riders almost hit a pushchair, and with others following him going through the reds. people have to stop and let cyclists through the red lights even though it’s green for pedestrians to cross. that’s where we are now in east London
Not a cyclist, but I do love crossing the road when there’s a red light, see a cyclist clearly about to blow through the red and I just… stand in front of them, spread my arms and point at the traffic light.
Winds them up no end.
the only cyclists that will be able to read the text are the ones who don’t skip the lights though
I cycle as well, and kinda agree with this. I was waiting at the lights one time and a guy on a Lime Bike was ringing his bell at me for being in his way while he charges thru. It really shouldn’t be like this.
Good idea. The only time I’ve been hit while cycling was that time another cyclist ran into me while I was waiting at a red light.
thy need those at every intersection in Boston
This isn’t a proper ishihara test since those with red-green colourblindness can still see the text.
Except the only people who are going to have time to read it are the ones who actually stopped at a red light.
Can’t see anything
I might do if I ever stopped at traffic lights.
hehe

Can’t see it, what does it say?
What does it say?
As a colour blind person I can read this although some of the letters are a bit faded
This done more for colour blindness awareness then cycling safety
they all know the rules, they just don’t care
A guy put it up. He got into his car, cut a few reds, parked on a junction box, texted whilst driving and drove 40 in a 20 zone.
cyclists jumping red lights is a victimless act
The cyclists who need to see this whoosh past too quickly to read the sign…
They do this in Bristol too. Winds me up to no end. I use the local scooters a lot and it was infuriating and embarrassing to be on the roads with them

A green poster? What are you on about?
He’s done ya and he’s not even here
Haha, brilliant!
