WASHINGTON (TNND) — Vice President JD Vance shared that former FBI Director James Comey’s indictment is just the beginning for the Trump administration, saying there will “certainly” be “more indictments” to come from the Justice Department.

“Well, there’s certainly gonna be more indictments coming over the next three and a half years of the Trump administration, but we’re always going to let the law drive this stuff, and the facts of the case, and not political motivations,” Vance shared during an interview with Martha MacCalllum on “Fox News Sunday”.

“Which frankly makes us so much different from the Biden administration, where they indicted not just the president of the United States but so many people who were engaged in policymaking” Vance continued.

Vance’s interview comes as Comey was indicted last week on felony charges of lying to Congress and obstructing a congressional proceeding. U.S. attorney Lindsey Halligan, a Trump loyalist who was appointed by the president last week, brought the charges against Comey in the Eastern District of Virginia. Her appointment comes as the previous attorney Erik Siebert did not think there was a case to prosecute Comey or former New York Attorney General Letitia James, leading Trump to oust him. Trump had publicly pushed Attorney General Pam Bondi to bring charges against Comey, James, and Sen. Adam Schiff (D-CA) in a Truth Social post in which he called the trio “guilty as hell.”

“We can’t delay any longer, it’s killing our reputation and credibility,” Trump wrote on Truth Social on September 20. “They impeached me twice, and indicted me (5 times!), OVER NOTHING. JUSTICE MUST BE SERVED, NOW!!!”

Armstrong Williams, a Washington insider, speculated on who might be next, mentioning names like John Brennan and Barry Willis.

“All you need to do is go back to the role of all those who tried to, in their own way, bring charges,” Williams said. He noted that some individuals “created lies and evidence” against Trump, referencing the Trump dossier.
