Here’s the full text of 20-point plan to end Israel’s war on Gaza

1. >Gaza will be governed under the temporary transitional governance of a technocratic, apolitical Palestinian committee, responsible for delivering the day-to-day running of public services and municipalities for the people in Gaza. This committee will be made up of qualified Palestinians and international experts, with oversight and supervision by a new international transitional body, the “Board of Peace,” ***which will be headed and chaired by President Donald J Trump, with other members and heads of State to be announced, including Former [UK] Prime Minister Tony Blair***. This body will set the framework and handle the funding for the redevelopment of Gaza until such time as the Palestinian Authority has completed its reform program, as outlined in various proposals, including President Trump’s peace plan in 2020 and the Saudi-French proposal, and can securely and effectively take back control of Gaza. This body will call on best international standards to create modern and efficient governance that serves the people of Gaza and ***is conducive to attracting investment***.

   Lol, pretty sure Trump did not call the plan that. 

   Anyway this plan seems odd in many ways

   > Once all hostages are released, Israel will release 250 life-sentence prisoners, plus 1,700 Gazans who were detained after October 7th 2023, including all women and children detained in that context

   This is a very trust Israel sequencing. Would have made more sense to just keep smaller exchanges.  Likely going to be a large part of what kills this. 

   > For every Israeli hostage whose remains are released, Israel will release the remains of 15 deceased Gazans.

   That’s an odd term.  why would Israel still hold on to the corpses otherwise? Why are they releasing more dead bodies if more hostages are dead but the same number of prisoners? 

   > Members of Hamas who wish to leave Gaza will be provided safe passage to receiving countries.

   And where is that? Under what conditions?

   > A Trump economic development plan

   Lol

   > A guarantee will be provided by regional partners to ensure that Hamas, and the factions, comply with t alheir obligations and that New Gaza poses no threat to its neighbours or its people.

   Really not following how this works.

   > The United States will work with Arab and international partners to develop a temporary International Stabilizatio immediatelyn Force (ISF) to immediately deploy in Gaza.

   So a different group invades Gaza? Hopefully this all works out!

   > In the event Hamas delays or rejects this proposal, the above, including the scaled-up aid operation, will proceed in the terror-free areas handed over from the [Israeli military] to the ISF.

   So Israel is supposed to withdraw from somewhere immediately?

   > An interfaith dialogue process will be established based on the values of tolerance and peaceful co-existence to try and change mindsets and narratives of Palestinians and Israelis by emphasising the benefits that can be derived from peace.

   Hurray! I’m super optimistic on this one 

3. First, doubt Israel will actually go along with it even if hamas accepts.

   Second, didn’t see anything about the blockade. Did I miss it?

   Third, more should be made of the fact that Israel has 2,000 hostages to swap (yeah, I know hasbarists will claim they’re prisoners…spare me).

4. The crazy part is that Trump will be part of this. How can this guy rebuild Gaza when he can’t over govern his own country without creating more problems for the Americans with his so called reforms.

   Secondly, they keep talking about how Israel won’t annex Gaza, but they’re not saying anything about West Bank. They expect reforms from PA, but there is no promise from Israel to not steal even more land or interfere in West Bank.

5. > Upon acceptance of this agreement, full aid will be immediately sent into the Gaza Strip. At a minimum, aid quantities will be consistent with what was included in the January 19, 2025, agreement regarding humanitarian aid, including rehabilitation of infrastructure (water, electricity, sewage), rehabilitation of hospitals and bakeries, and entry of necessary equipment to remove rubble and open roads.

6. It’s truly monstrous how after the depravity and violence Israel/America has inflicted in the last 2 years they think they’re convincing anyone with this ‘plan’. Appointing war criminal servant of technocrats Tony Blair as some sort of Neo-colonial viceroy is insane.

   Anyone and everyone attached to this should feel ashamed but I’m fairly sure not feeling shame is a prerequisite for being a US vassal/collaborator.

7. Let’s create the problem, displace natives and then impose ourselves as rulers of the land via a “Board of Peace”.

   Doesn’t reek of colonialism at all! (/s if it isn’t obvious). 
   What’s even more pathetic are the countries signing off on it thinking this is some genius solution. 

8. If you want to govern a place, ultimately, you need a monopoly on violence in that place. I don’t see how the “Board of Peace” will achieve that. And this is not a hypothetical question: what can they do if someone starts lobbing rockets at Israel or preparing an October-7-like attack?

9. If Trump pulls this off then he’s going to get a Nobel Peace Prize. 20 countries did that joint statement that agreed with what deal there is. I think whatever side doesn’t agree to this is going to look like the bad guy but both sides really don’t want to sign it.

10. Gaza is in ruins. Likely over a hundred thousand dead (low estimate). Illegal settlements in the West Bank have expanded massively.

    The West got what it wanted: Israel has been allowed to complete their colonial project. All of this is virtue signalling. Israel could fully annex Gaza and the West Bank tomorrow without consequences. If any of these countries truly wanted peace and prosperity for the Palestinians people, they would have cut off Israel when it became clear they were committing a genocide. When even genocide is not a red line, nothing is.

    History won’t forget this, nor the nations that helped Israel commit these atrocities.

11. The whole point is to make a Las Vegas in the Middle East. Obviously the (leadership) of the neighbouring Arab nations are on board, they know they can’t do it within their own borders, the local religious zealots will never allow it. Hence why Dubai only goes half way there(drinking in some hotels, no gambling).

    The Palestinians will man the gas pumps and clean the hotels.

12. Does it involve Hamas surrendering and offering up all it’s beloved resistance-rapists for war crimes trials?

    Of course not, in fact as usual it demands the release of Hamas murderers and rapists.

    The irony is that this sort of admits that one dead Jew is worth ten of Palestine’s brave murderers.

13. Trump. Blair. I smell money and grift. I mean, excellent if the genocide can be stopped and Hamas are fucked off out of there; but the cast involved makes me strongly suspect the motives.

14. You think Palestinians living in tents for 2 years give two shits it’s Tony Blair behind this plan. They DGAF, they want the war over and their lives back. The only people in the way of it now are Hamas. They were never going to remain a military force after Oct 7th, time to wake up to reality. Make the deal, end the war
