I could never understand this country claiming neutrality while hosting the military of a country that is perpetually at war.
Ireland knows which side its bread is buttered on, if we’re not going to have a genuine military, least we can do is butter up the Yanks and the Brits.
I’m not sure these lads would be in favour of us having a military capable of some level of deterrence, either way, deport them back to the States and don’t let them back in.

Criminalising those who oppose imperialist powers while we turn a blind eye to the millions whose lives have been lost or ruined by said powers.
I remember being at a protest outside the US Embassy just before Covid and a chant that stuck with me was *”Out of Iran, Out of Iraq, Pack Your Shit and Don’t Come Back.”*
The same applies to Shannon. If our Government has any morals whatsoever, with the notion of that being mad, then they’d tell the Yanks that they are no longer welcome in Shannon, nor any Irish airport in that case.
