Croatia Airlines has become one of the few operators to introduce the Airbus A220-100, having received its first of the twinjet variant.
The aircraft (9A-CAO) has been sourced from US lessor Air Lease.
Croatia Airlines says the jet is configured with 127 seats. It departed Montreal for Zagreb on 29 September.
Just over 70 A220-100s have been delivered, primarily to Delta Air Lines which ordered 45 of the type.

Other carriers using the type include Swiss and ITA, while Polish carrier LOT recently signed as a major customer with an agreement for 20.
Airbus has secured orders for 118 A220-100s.
Croatia Airlines is intending to take up to 15 A220s, and has already received six of the larger A220-300.
It started introducing the A220s last year and, while the carrier expects the renewal to benefit its operation, the transition costs are generating pressure on its financial performance.
