Austrian skier Marcel Hirscher married his girlfriend of three years, Lucy, in a private ceremony in his living room, according to the Austrian Crown. The two were married weeks ago in a small, intimate wedding at home before the World Cup training began for the 2025-26 season.

Hirscher was previously married to Laura Moisl, with whom he shares two children. The couple got divorced after three years of marriage in 2021.

Hirscher is recognized as one of the best alpine skiers in history, and returned to the sport last season. Unfortunately, he suffered an ACL tear in December, ending his comeback season prematurely. Hirscher, who holds a record eight overall World Cup season titles, recently made his return to on-snow training in Zermatt, Switzerland. It is currently unclear whether he will be able to compete at the World Cup Season Opener in Sölden, Austria, on October 26.

The 36-year-old’s comeback to ski racing was made possible after the International Ski and Snowboard Federation (FIS) introduced a wildcard rule. The FIS rule would allow Hirscher to carry 17 wildcard starts from last season forward.
