  2. Harris lost the 2024 election by 1.5%. A few million votes out of over 150 million votes. America is divided. There is no mandate for either party. And neither party should be claiming one. But MAGA does. With a president that barely won, A house with the absolute smallest of majorities, and a small majority in the Senate. There is no reason that this government should shut down other than MAGA wants everything to go their way when fully half this country does not want the same thing. This shutdown is the fault of Republican MAGA forces. Period.
