Has a couple of years of disruption to schooling by Covid changed the way pupils behave now they’ve returned to school?

Kids had a lot of pent up energy from lockdowns, can’t say I’m surprised they’re pushing back more than normal.
I suppose its better than the Benson and Hedges that we used to smoke behind the sports hall
It’s almost like destroying multiple years of the Young’s youth in favour of the olds was a dumbass move. Many said this at the time, 2 years to a teenager is a huge length of time, not so much for an 80 year old. The old people should have been told to protect themselves and isolate while the young and healthy allowed to carry on as normal. Lockdown fucked a generation, top effort!
Honestly at what point do you just accept that kids are going to do some things they shouldn’t do?
We smoked and drank at school. Tonnes of dangerous stuff. I just wonder if by making them more and more authoritarian you’re asking for trouble.
This fuss over vaping is weird. Like yeah, its not ideal, but compared to the cigarettes we all grew up on in our teens I think it is far better. Most kids vape and then never move to cigarettes which have the smell and stigma. A whole society vaping is not that big a deal innit.
