  1. I DO BIKE TOURS ALL OVER EUROPE — MANY PEOPLE SAY THE BEST BIKE TOURS (EVER)! 🚴‍♂️ I HAVE TO SAY, NON-DUTCH COUNTRIES (TOTAL DISASTER!!!)
HAVE THE WORST BIKE INFRASTRUCTURE ANYONE’S EVER SEEN. SHARED PEDESTRIAN + BIKE LANES? HORRIBLE IDEA!
NOBODY LIKES THEM, EVERYBODY HATES THEM. VERY BAD, VERY SAD! FIX IT NOW!!!

AND LET ME TELL YOU, THE NETHERLANDS (#1 BY FAR) HAS THE BIGGEST BIKE NETWORK IN THE WORLD — NOT JUST PER CAPITA, FOLKS, THE WHOLE WORLD (VERY BIG)! NOBODY EVEN COMES CLOSE. OTHER COUNTRIES? TOTAL DISGRACE!!! LEARN FROM THE DUTCH — THEY KNOW WHAT THEY’RE DOING!!!

  2. The famous “moordstrookje” as it’s affectionately known in Belgium

  3. There is a road near where I used to work that is long and narrow but also the only West-East route for miles and leads to a bunch of touristy bits like the sea and castles. The cyclists have a nice bike path alongside it which has shared use but actually wide enough for it and has markings.

Most use it but the road is often clogged by a Lycra clad prat going ten miles an hour with two miles of traffic behind them behind them because they adamantly refuse to use anything that is ‘shared use’ and presumably have to touch the same pavement as a bipedal peasant. And then in the summer the caravans come…

Most cyclists are fine but for some reason you all manage to attract the type of twat who makes it worse for you all.

  4. Can we not drop bikes on top of a child and their (hopefully) legal guardian??

  5. I prefer mix use of pedestrian and cycle infrastructure over sharing the road with cars in 50 kph zones and that includes those dumb Fahrradstreifen things. Especially with the influx of taller cars. I’ve recently had the pleasure to be overtaken by a yank tank and that’s not pleasant. Of course, the driver didn’t give a damn and I could have kicked the bed, but the bonnet of those things alone is so high you can’t even give the driver the death stare they’ve just earned.

  6. No one knows you’re supposed to walk on the left hand side of these paths anyway.

Are there traffic re-education camps where we can send these people?

  7. Easy to say when your country is the size of a mid sized asian city.

  8. We have bike lanes here in Bristol… you’ll never see em though

  9. Be more based. Don’t add bike lanes, just take away car lanes… turn them all into one ways. Narrow every lane until it only barely fits cars and put big concrete barriers to keep those fuckers in check.

  10. We make the city bike friendly: Car speed limit 30kmh.
Result: Cars equally as fast, still scared to cycle around, more speeding fines.

  11. They do the best to keep the Dutch away. The are an annoyance with any vehicle or without.

  12. I would already be happy if cars stopped at zebra crossings but they can’t even do that most of the time…

  13. Noooo not the circle sign! Anything but the circle sign! Why is it not just the square siiiggggnnnn
