Trump wants his Nobel peace prize… if he can end this war in Ukraine’s favour quite well, sure he can have it.
I am convinced that Ukraine already has the intelligence it needs to know where the Russian refineries are.
A little help finding the best route around the few remaining Russian air-defense systems, might be helpful. But Ukraine has already killed so many of the Russian air-defense systems, there are not so many left.
I suspect the main purpose of this offer is, so Trump can claim responsibility for the win.
Let him make that false claim, if he wants. Everyone in the whole world knows that Trump has spent several years trying to help Russia. He just wants to be seen on the Ukraine side after he finally figured out that Ukraine is going to win.

Tomahawks have such a range they could go 1000km in another direction and still hit almost any target. If they hit 100 refineries I say give him the peace prize.
Europe also needs to get its act together and embargo the shadow fleet. One ship captured by the French is pitiful

Ukraine hit russian oil refineries earlier in the war; This panicked both the russians and Biden, who forbade such attacks. Could the same be happening again? Ukraine’s successes come when the US is out of the loop – the Izium counteroffensive, the moskva, spiderweb, the refinery strikes. When the US is involved, Ukraine fails – the Zaporizhia offensive, the pissing about with attack permissions.
Maybe this is the US offering targets it wants Ukraine to hit that won’t affect Oil Prices. I hope I’m wrong.
That sounds too good to be true, especially with Putin simp Gabbard as DNI.
