  1. Yeah, unite Cyprus, please. The Greeks/Turks are not in 1950 any more, 99% of metropolis cities in the world are multicultural. Establish a normal police force, get rid of the soldiers who’ve been patrolling for invisible enemies for half a century, the whole thing is embarrassing

  2. Ignorant Greek here with a quesiton.

How seriously is a federal state solution following the Belgian model being discussed?

(i.e. a GC region, a TC region and a capital region with three local governments and a federal government on top of them)

  3. Its worse. They listen to people, they just decide to ignore it cause is not on their visions agenda as both communities are run mainly by corrupted brainwashed uneducated leaders. Not until people break the wall and put them in their face and this needs bravery on both sides.

  4. There is one issue a lot of people fail to see, I am aware I’ll get downvoted for this, but Greeks and Turks are not like French and Germans. There is a historic rivalry between our 2 ethnicities, and it would take a long time for most wounds to mend, you might be accepting of a union now, but there will always be a problem. The pre 1974 model was the best imo; Greek and Turks Were being represented according to their population.
