  1. No-one with a brain in their head should be traveling to the US anyway.

  4. This is un-American. We are a secular nation – not a Christian, Muslim, Buddhist, or any other religion.

    We have freedom to worship any God and any religion – and the freedom to be an atheist or agnostic.

    Our country should not be imposing religious values on those that wish to be married to the same sex.

    I have personally seen one moderately famous (on financial Twitter) stop using Twitter and ultimately moved abroad. I have seen many that are too poor to move criticize those that left.

    I am torn – how do I tell my LGBTQ+ homies to stay in the US?

    I pray for them. We are not a perfect nation and always striving for a “more perfect union.”

    Civil rights have to be fought for. I want many to stay and fight the good fight against those that have too much hate in their heart that they cannot accept people for who they are.

  8. There was no warning issued by the federal government. Typical CBC nonsense.

    One just needs to look at the foreign affairs page for travel advice to the USA. Making people aware that not everyone recognizes trans people is not a warning.

  10. Getting a gender neutral X marker was always going to bar you from certain countries, it was always a risk getting it.

  13. There is no good reason to come to the US whatsoever. This country is a hell hole perpetually days away from summary executions of any and every non MAGA. Stay as far away as you can.
