Belarus and Russia have signed a comprehensive Russian-Belarusian co-operation programme for non-energy nuclear and non-nuclear projects for 2025–2027, sb.by reports citing Belarus’ State Committee on Science and Technology

The document was signed by Rosatom CEO Alexey Likhachev on behalf of Russia and Chairman of SCST Sergei Shlychkov from the Belarusian side.

The agreement naturally continues the comprehensive programme the states had been pursuing in recent years. It develops the provisions of the Memorandum between the governments of Belarus and Russia on deepening strategic co-operation in peaceful nuclear energy and associated high technologies.

The up-to-date comprehensive programme outlines the main objectives of co-operation for the next few years, including launching joint investment projects and introducing new technologies to Belarus’ energy sector and industry. While pursuing the programme, the sides are expected to leverage the Union State’s projects and initiatives.
