  4. I always wonder, what’s the point in aggroing countries you are not currently engaged in war with. You know, countries who already support your enemies. Galvanizing the population to support your enemy *more* sounds like a remarkably stupid thing to do from a strategical perspective.

  5. To be russian-esque they would recruit in the minority populations of those countries. Agents to carry out such acts to cause division on ethnic and religious lines. They would claim it wasn’t Boris it was Omar. If that didn’t sell they would say Omar is an agent of Zion. That would be the ticket.

  13. It feels like it’s Putins dream to have a war against Europe? Is his plan to provoke eu until they respond, to use it as an excuse for losing in Ukraine? Very small pathetic nuisances to get a reaction and then say seee the big bad Europe is mean to use thus we lost the war? I hope we stay chill and let him fall on his own grip.

    It’s like being in a fist fight with someone smaller than you and while you are barely hanging on in the fight, you decide to throw a punch at some random 6’4 300 pound dude.

  19. If I was Russia the last thing I would want to do know is antagonize another country. 
    Especially one that is so much richer, better armed and roughly the same size as a country that I couldn’t take over despite it being an easy victory on paper. 
    Especially one protected by NATO.
    Like I know no country should want to go to war but I feel like at this time Russia is not strong enough to really get away with it 

  20. Why would they want to do that? I don’t want to sound pro-Russia, but I would take anything like that with a grain of salt.

    The worst thing for Russia right now would be bringing NATO directly into the conflict. Even though NATO is already supporting Ukraine, it is not directly fighting Russia. For Russia, fighting NATO would mean losing the war.

    The only parties that would benefit from such a move are Ukraine or anyone who benefits financially from prolonging the conflict.

    I think it’s naive to believe that no one benefits from a prolonged conflict. there are definitely people on both sides who do.

  22. Russia has an economic strength comparable to Italy. Cut all direct and indirect economic relations and see them fail soon.

  23. Explosives near Bundeswehr barracks were found last year. The cutting of water supply to a barrack was assumed to be by Russia, but could not be verified. Once the hybrid war goes hot Russia will try to initially cripple us.
