Temple bar pub already getting the Christmas trees out!

Is it too soon or do people love seeing it earlier and earlier!

  3. It is too soon, and I would avoid places that have Christmas decorations up in October. I can’t even think about Christmas until Halloween is over.

  7. It’s the Temple Bar Pub…the most expensive pub in the country…they will probably be increasing their prices on the basis that it’s now Christmas.

  8. Going into a shop and seeing the Christmas decorations sitting beside the Halloween ones is genuinely nauseating. I will judge and shame anyone who gets into the Christmas mood in October, it’s not normal.

  20. I mean Brown Thomas Limerick did Christmas decorations in August. This was few years back while I was working in Limerick. That was the worst.!

  25. The Christmas stuff was all up in the Range yesterday, and the Halloween stuff reduced.

  35. Temple bar is completely ignoring a halloween which has its roots in Ireland. Being the most well known tourist bar in Ireland they should be celebrating Irish holidays instead of skipping them.

  40. I work in retail. We’ve had Halloween decorations since July and Christmas for the last few weeks. Nauseating.

  43. I actually think that DCC should have a bylaw for this. Only current and up and coming holiday decorations should be allowed.

  45. At some stage they will leave every season and occasion up. Shops will have mental mashups of stuff. No need to take down or put up anymore.
