  1. He is one of many comedians who got suckered into becoming apart of the propaganda machine. Like the rest of them “he didn’t vote for this” but he was more than happy to take all those views and clicks. Maybe probably should have put down the blow and picked up a book a time or two.

  2. Here I was thinking it’s because you aren’t actually funny.

  3. Or he performed in comedies house of blues too much and ended up with an hour of jokes exclusively for knuckle draggers, and thought it would translate to a Seattle crowd lmao.

  4. Like he’s the only comic who’s ever performed while dealing with shit? He just isn’t good at it

  5. u/OLEDible I get that you are a fan and that’s okay.

But you can’t say someone is for mental health all while they support and have own people from a political party that refuses to address mental health issues and even gutted programs to help mental health.

Even as we speak the GOP has shut down the government because they want to gut Americans from having health care… which also means lack of help for those with mental health issues.

Maybe if this issues truly mattered to Theo he wouldn’t be helping promote the side actively shitting on mental health patience.

  6. You being a general fuck ass may also inhibit your performance.

  7. Or maybe it’s that you’re painfully unfunny to anyone outside of the dumbest circles of MAGA.

This loser should never even have made it on to Road Rules!

  8. So he was so troubled by being used as a tool by this admin that it threw off his taped performance? Let’s see how that translates when he brings on his “friend” JD Vance or any other from this admin.

  9. Considering that 90% of his “jokes” are clearly just him making up stories on the spot, I can already guess exactly what he sounds like while saying this.

Lots of long pauses and casual racism tossed in at the end of run-on sentences with that southern inflection that sounds like he is suprised by his own perceived wisdom.

  10. I was huge Theo fan for years before he blew up. His standup specials were never really that good. He was hilarious live back in 2018, until a few years later I had the chance to see him again and it was the same material around 2020/21. I grew out of him around then but it’s crazy to see he still hasn’t had a successful special. Are his jokes still about growing up in Covington and the wooden shirt guy?

  11. See? If he plays victim and blames mental health, we cant say shit about his lack of fucking talent… it’s just because he’s off his meds.

  12. Who knew some random person from an MTV show would be mentally unstable.

  13. Not all comedians can do standup. It’s hard, it’s different.

Take Will Farrell for example. Funny guy, brilliant actor, but not great standup

  14. I say this as someone who loves stand up but why did we start taking the opinions of the most notoriously unstable branch of entertainers seriously?

  15. Do not let these people off the hook. It doesn’t matter what lever they pulled at the voting booth. It doesn’t matter when they claim today that ‘this wasn’t what they voted for’ because the smart people, you know, the people that passionately despise MAGA for what it is, were telling you what was going to happen if you put him back in power. People like Theo helped radicalize moderates into believing that MAGA was a reasonable and sane choice i.e. sanewashing, and that makes him a **party propagandist,** willing or no. End of story.

  16. As someone that’s currently experiencing severe SSRI withdrawal, FUCK this guy.

Editing to add: SSRI withdrawal is no joke. So I have tons of empathy for that. It’s been hell for a month. That said, using his mental health to distract from his deeply problematic actions over the last several years is fucking horseshit.

  17. Played those “Victim” cards pretty easily it seems

  18. Editing hours of programming to present 45 second clips for engagement is an entirely different animal from a stand up set. Guessing he’s reached the point where he might be realizing just keeping the positive feedback folks around might not be the best strategy.

Nah, who am I kidding? He’ll blame it on woke politics or some other ephemeral buzzword.

  19. “Going off meds?” But I thought only pussies take meds. Isn’t he a BEAST COMIC, B?

  20. I don’t think that’s the real reason tbh, but why would you go off your meds at a time this critical to your career?!

  21. I ended up in the right’s algorithm and they’re comparing him to Robin Williams.

  22. Whatever. Zero sympathy. Fuck Theo Vaughn for taking the clicks and views. Absolutely part of the problem.

  23. These podcasters think the “I’m so dumb.” schtick absolves them of consequences, and I’m not sure why. You not having to deal with extreme consequences due to your own ignorance is quite literally why it’s important to THINK. “I don’t know anything.” is not a personality trait. It’s a character flaw.
