Finland’s national selection for Eurovision, Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu (UMK), returns for another year, stronger than ever. Having already broken the record for entries, with 491 songs submitted, the competition promises a strong line-up of seven artists who will battle it out for the coveted ticket to Eurovision 2026.

Today, advance ticket sales began for the two nights of UMK 2026, namely the dress rehearsal and the live show, where we will find out which artist will raise the Finnish flag in Vienna in May. Prices for the dress rehearsal start at €19.90 for seats with limited visibility and go up to €49.90 for those who want to be close to the stage and enjoy their favorite artists up close. Similarly, prices for the live show and the night the winner is announced range from €39.90 to €99.90.

Along with the advance ticket sales, Yle also confirmed the already known schedule for the competition. Specifically, on January 14, the seven artists who will compete in UMK26 will be revealed. Then, from January 15 to 23, with the exception of weekends, the seven entries will be released, one each day. The big night is scheduled for February 28, when we will discover Erika Vikman’s successor on the Eurovision stage.

In addition, Finland’s broadcaster has released the first details about the seven artists who have been selected:
