You don’t have to “honor” someone to also not be ok with how they died. It is totally consistent to believe both that political assassinations are wrong and that this one happened to a person who sucked ass. Doesn’t mean I’m glad it happened, but also doesn’t mean I’m sad he’s dead.

Because when Kirk died, every single person who talked about Melissa Hortman they referred to her as “Minn state lawmaker” instead of my her name bc if they used her name *no one knew who they were talking about* bc Fox was essentially SILENT when that happened.
I guess I’m particularly dim tonight because I don’t see the problem here? Everyone *should* condemn violence against lawmakers. And no one should be honoring that piece of shit but I’m not surprised at the numbers.
