Well, glad the US enforces the sanctions rigorously, not as half-hearted as some European nations.
At LEAST half of the US is dumb as fuck.

Don’t know how long this will be the case tbh. There is a growing isolationist wing in both parties. The republicans are a bit further along but the democrats aren’t all that far behind. The whole “we aren’t the world police” sentiment is very strong and interventionism in general is loathed as Bush misused it to warmonger.
In a little over 2 years the US could be back with the cancer himself… having not being whiped out but just in remission these last few years.
It’s important for Europe to use this moment of transatlantic stability to try and improve their own capacity. Which is why I was very happt to see Germany invest heavily in its military.
