   It’s grossly anti-Semitic to link the genocide in Gaza to British Jews. They are not responsible for it in any way.

   It’s presumably similarly anti-Semitic to assume a protest against genocide in Gaza is a protest against British Jews.

3. Gagging is not the answer to our problems, dialogue is. Spreading understanding that everyone (bar a few outlier idiots) is basically the same and decent and not deserving of any hate.

14. So I think we need to get things clear on this. being against israel genociding palestinians is not antisemitic.

    In fact I would go further and say that the constant re-inforcing of the idea that criticism of israel is antisemitic actually helps to conflate in the minds of some that israel=jews. This is not helpful and increases the likelihood that jewish people will be targeted over the actions of the israeli state.

    There are two groups of people that cause this problem and make terrorist incidents like this more likley. extremist terrorist groups like hamas and extremist israeli governments like the one that netanyahu is in charge of.

    So lets stop people from getting us to focus on what divides us as they are our real enemies.

25. The protest has nothing to do with the attack, the protest was arranged way in advance. And Jew doesn’t not = israeli. The protest is for the Palestinian people being killed and the British citizens that have been kidnapped by Israel.
