Global Sumud Flotilla: Latest bid to break Gaza blockade drew activists from across the world

The end of the road for the global Sumud flutilla. Dozens of boats were morowed near the Israeli port of Ashdod after being intercepted by the IDF on Wednesday. CCTV footage showed crew members with their hands raised in a gesture of surrender as heavily armed Israeli soldiers boarded the vessels. Among those detained, Swedish activist Greta Tunberg, who recorded a video message prior to her arrest. If you are watching this video, I have been abducted and taken against my will by Israeli forces. Our humanitarian mission was nonviolent and abiding by international law. The 40 vessel Flut was the largest yet to try to break Israel’s blockade on Gaza. It transported nearly 500 lawmakers and activists and a symbolic amount of humanitarian aid destined for the Palestinian enclave. Israel’s decision to intercept the fleet in international waters drew a string of condemnations with Turkey calling the move an act of terrorism and launching a probe into the arrest of dozens of its nationals. The EU also expressed concerns over the legality of Israel’s blockade and reiterated its support for establishing a humanitarian corridor in Gaza. See international humanitarian law uh needs to be respected and also international law of the sea uh the law of uh the navigation in the international waters. We said already here that uh we condemn any attacks against the flotillaa any drone strikes or any seizures. Demonstrations in support of the flotillaa were held in Paris, Bolognia, and other European cities on Thursday with protesters calling on their governments to ramp up pressure on Israel to end its blockade of the Gaza Strip. 1. They took action for humanitarianism, and whether they were putting on a show or not, they could be regarded as great. This is something that human beings should be aware of. If your country is occupied with 90% of the land in the name of anti-terrorism and kills tens of thousands of innocent people, it is these people who will speak up for you. Please cherish them.

  2. You present yourself to the world with professionalism and transparency, but your actions resemble terrorism. The world must look at this carefully.

  3. 🇮🇱 = global terrorism. please report them online and call the police wherever you spot an israeli adult (=a reservist). protect your kids from these psychopaths!

  4. "Arrested" is the incorrect term. They were attacked by pirates and kidnapped. The sooner those pirates are brought to justice the better. Every navy in the world should hunt them down and those who ordered the attack on the flotilla.
