  1. Two things: declaring war as a criminal act and declaring war in the name of religion as criminal act. and voila.

  2. He should turn his nighly broadcast into a podcast and charge to watch it. It could fund the war

  3. The world should heed this call seriously to work towards peace and safeguard humanity’s future.

  4. Does it seem like only generation Xers have the sense to forecast how dangerous AI is going to be?

  6. He’s probably correct and it’s not just AI and drones. Cheap sensor technology has enabled belligerents to develop cheap precision munitions. They can use these sensors and commercial satellites to find targets. NATO members were about the only countries to employ precision munitions effectively prior to this century.

We are seeing rapidly improving technology when it comes to directed energy weapons, quantum computing, synthetic biology, additive manufacturing, hypersonics, and more.

Technologies like CRISPR can potentially allow for the creation of cheap bio weapons. At any time we could see cyber attacks that are far more destructive than any we have seen before. Satellites have become increasingly vulnerable. Additive manufacturing or 3D printing allows militaries to manufacture things they could not create through reductive manufacturing, which is taking a chunk of material and then cutting it down to the shape you want.

  7. “Stopping Russia now is cheaper than wondering who will be the tourists to create a simple drone carrying a nuclear warhead.”

    Chilling

  8. There’s no stopping it. Best you could even achieve is a delay, but it will move forward one way or another.

  9. Really good points he raises here and there’s something worse on the horizon, its not just military that can afford access to these weapons, any group with a bit of money can.

Then fast forward a few years, would you be surprised to see the worlds first ever mass shooting conducting by a drone?

  10. Trump doesn’t care, he’s gonna need that technology to unleash against Americans and pave the way to fascism.

  11. I think its vital that Ukraine joins the EU. They are the most advanced country in modern warfare, hopefully this war will end soon and they can be part of the EU’s new rearming project.
