Ukraine Destroys Russian Cavalry Unit in First Battlefield Use Since 1950s

1. Repeat after me, thank God they are this stupid. While the video is grainy, you can see 2 people. The propaganda video released earlier this week was better quality. They are using stepp ponies and overweight them with 2 riders and equipment. That is why they were on foot, the pony can’t take abuse for long.

2. I feel sorry for the horses. They don’t deserve this. 

3. What a crazy timeline we live in…
   _Second military power of the world_ first reduced to second in Ukraine, then deploys horses to the battlefield.

4. Horses and mules still have a military utility, but not a role in assault. Using them to patrol borders, or to resupply troops in mountainous terrain, this I can see. Using them for assault is crazy in the circumstances of Ukraine. It’s cruel too.

5. I simply don’t believe that they are using horses for assaults. Horses are timid and cowardly af. Don’t tell me Russians are training full-fledged warhorses. 

6. About as successful as I’d expect a (non-armoured) calvary charge to go on a modern battlefield.

7. And Putin propaganda (as well as RT, and probably Fox News) breathlessly report “Putin revives cavalry units in Special Military Operation”.

   There is almost nothing advanced left!
