Green party leader says people like the green party
not with that guy as deputy
I like building housing too much to support the Greens.
I’ll wait for election time to make my decisions; i really need to see what the policies are-i’m kinda tired of performance over substance on all the political parties these days accross the world
Why do i just not believe that? I struggle to believe any green candidate will beat sadiq khan in a mayoral election or that the greens will win more MPs in london than labour but hey, anythings possibile.
All hail the hypnoboob, I guess.
Doubt
I’ve heard this one before….
Reform will get in next.
Reddit constantly posting and agreeing with whatevee the green party is saying is beginning to remind me of watching our and the American elections.
Just convincing ourselves that it’s real life and that Hilary, Harris, Corbyn were clear favourites then everyone gobsmacked when it doesn’t happen in the real world.
Anecdotally Labour’s support amongst ethnic minorities is falling apart. I’m not sure the votes will move to the greens but the London electoral map could get shaken up. This is in a general election context btw – I think Sadiq is still relatively popular.
Sorry greens, but no way will I vote for you.
Genuinely think they could have taken a fair more seats if they’d pushed last election. I usually voted labour but they were so lacklustre, greens had the most appealing policies.
There is a scarily high percentage of Reform supporters in our city if this poll is to be believed. But who are these people? I have yet to meet one, although I don’t live in a bubble; I have friends from a range of cultural and social backgrounds and my work brings me into contact with a good cross section of Londoners – including suburban as well as central. Even the white van driving skilled tradesmen I know – one of Reform’s target demographics – think that Farage is a ‘plonker’ and Reform supporters are ‘fucking morons’ (direct quotes). So where are these Reform people to be found?
The Greens will benefit from the return of the Supplementary Vote at the next Mayoral election. The ‘second choice’ votes could carry post-Sadiq Labour over the line.
Anytime his mug crops up I can’t help but get the impression he’s trying to sell me a shitty second hand car on finance.
I’m sorry but the green party is full of centre-right liars who masquerade as left.
The guy also used to claim he could enlarge breasts with hypnotherapy. I’ll take any claim he makes with a heavy pinch of salt.
Missed the important bit: “in 2068”
Wahey!
Sorry ive got to keep Reform from destroying the country
Ok, Zach.
Personally I don’t think the answer to right wing populism is left wing populism
The greens will absolutely clean up in next mays council elections in London. As for 2029 I suspect it’ll be between Starmer and Farage. Probably Farage but a bit early to tell
