Can’t read the article, but I’d assume what they mean is production costs went to zero for big business and suppliers, but still charged every single customer for the amount of electricity used….
And at the same time we have reform getting headlines about wanting to scrap renewable energy and going back to fossil fuels. We have the technology and the ability to produce proper green energy and not make things shitter for our children and grandchildren. This proves that.
This happens regularly.. it has been most weekends over the summer that Octopus give free vend of electricity and a heads up so you can charge the car and do the washing etc. I’ll get credited today £2-3.
Cost me 7p to put 60kwh into my car overnight.
Almost feel ripped off because I set the price cap to 2p in my charger
Let me guess. I’ll still pay gas prices even though my heating is 100% electric? This country is beyond ridiculous
Guess which idiot set their house batteries to discharge between 12-2 when it was free electricity, rather than charge, by mistake
With octopus, will the batteries charge themselves?
Would the same batteries discharge before the event?
Happy medium being a phev owner with an octopus agile tariff
