I’m facing an issue with Grover, I have been renting an iPhone with them since September 2022 for a two year contract, after 2 years of rental had passed, they offered a price reduction to the monthly rental price to renew, which I agreed to since the purchase price at the time was more than 600 euros. I realised that the purchase option disappeared after that. I sent them an email to request to buy the phone if possible. This was their response, and no, the terms were not clearly defined as they state in the email screenshot except after I accepted the offer and they sent the information in a confirmation email.
Now I’d rather keep the phone, I can send it back but I’m looking for any alternative option as I had already paid too much.
Has anyone been through this with Grover before?

Why would anybody rent a phone through a service like that? Of course they do things like that to make money with their assets. There is nothing you can do about this. Next time get a contract from a mobile phone provider that has a phone included. Way cheaper.
