I’m wondering what would happen in this situation over the border in Norway this is filmed in Finland

  1. What do you mean by “what would happen”? There’s like 15 bears in all of Norway, mostly toward the Swedish side so it’s not really likely, but why would it be any different?

  2. The monologue would be in another language maybe? I have honestly no clue as to what you’re asking

  3. What would happen is you kill the bear in defense and call the local wildlife inspector who would log the kill and ask some questions, this footage will exonerate the hunter, unless he sent the dog after the bear after he started shooting him, footage starts abit late so its an assumption.

  4. As was said in the movie Master and Commander (which is a great watch by the way), “You’re the predator” (meaning the protagonist, not the beast on the other side)

  5. +1 To this. This is “nødverge” protecting your dog from an illegal attack. He’d probably be harassed by nature conservationists but I think the hunter would go free here too

  6. Nothing would happen. This is clear self defence. You wouldn’t be able to keep the bear meat, so the hunter gains nothing

  7. What would happen is we would be able to see what what happening, because it wouldnt be recorded on a potato.
Also hopefully the person would care enough about their dog to not stand there for 10 minutes watching it be stuck under the very dead bear.

  8. I thought maybe OP was an American trying to make some kind of “gotcha” point about gun laws, but after looking at their account I have absolutely no idea what this means!
