The Duchess of Sussex attended the Balenciaga show in Paris on Saturday night in support of Pierpaolo Piccioli, who recently assumed the role of Creative Director for the House.

  2. I didn’t realize I commented on another royalty sub, not this one. So I deleted it there and I’ll post here.

    She looks amazing, as usual, but I’m kind of shocked she chose Balenciaga as the designer to support at Paris Fashion week. They have been very controversial, especially with their weird children ads in the past and their trolling with some of their products ( like their packing tape bracelet, which they priced at over a grand).

  6. I have always been a fan of her style but this is a miss for me. It’s like she’s in oversized, boxy pajamas with an afghan wrapped around her.

  7. She’s so gorgeous I didn’t even look at the mid outfit. It’s fine, not great. I get she probably didn’t pick this look herself. It at least looks very comfortable to wear, I feel almost (not really) bad for people who go to these events and feel uncomfy in what they have to wear.

  10. I am usually tired of her voluminous neutrals but this one looks better than usual, the pants seem to fit her better.

  12. This shade of white is beautiful on her! I wish the jacket was slightly tailored closer to her body, but I’m not the designer.

  14. This is giving me her wedding day. A large amount of fabric overwhelming her with plain Jane hair and makeup.

    I get what she was going for. However I think if her hair was different she would have carried this look better.

  20. I don’t personally love how the shawl is a different white than the more cream colour of the rest of the outfit. But not horrible.

    But given the Balenciaga / child predator scandals the brand has had I don’t think I would personally want to go if I was a celeb

  24. I think she thinks of it as amour. People treat her so badly that she might be nervous around so many people. People are wishing her death daily. It’s like after an SA encounter, women sometimes change the way they dress for self comfort.

  33. It’s a fashion show, I assume it’s custom balenciaga, I think she looks good. And the fit is cool

  39. As is so often the case, she looks like she is drowning in these clothes. Not flattering in the least, except the colour/ lack of colour looks nice on her.

  43. Not sure about the outfit. I like it from certain angles. It looks like something you’d see on some rich lady in the UAE. At least her skin is glowing as always. The makeup and hair is well done.
