Prince Harry furious at palace insiders for ‘ruining’ reunion with King Charles
Prince Harry has pushed back against reports claiming his recent meeting with King Charles III was distant and formal, alleging that unnamed sources within the palace are attempting to sabotage any move toward reconciliation.
The September 10 gathering at Clarence House marked the first one-on-one meeting between father and son in nearly two years, as per the Express UK.
According to Harry’s spokesperson, media accounts portraying the visit as chilly are “categorically false.”
Harry criticized those he said are leaking details about the meeting, referring to them as “sources intent on sabotage”, and expressed frustration with how the stories have been presented.
The King, meanwhile, was described by insiders as “saddened and perplexed” by Harry’s public suggestion that his own aides are working against reconciliation efforts.
Moreover, the conversation over reconciliation came amid long-standing tensions, including dispute over Harry’s memoir Spare, what he saw as mistreatment by the royal institution, and a legal battle over his security arrangements in the UK.
Despite these issues, Prince Harry reiterated his desire to heal the rift.
