Daniel Santos defeats JooSang Yoo by TKO (strikes) at 0:21 of Round 2

Daniel Santos registered a second-round stoppage win over JooSang Yoo, charging across the Octagon and putting away the South Korean seconds into the middle stanza.

After a competitive first round where each man has some success and things got a little tense between the two as Yoo frequently looked to show up Santos, the Brazilian got right back on the attack after the break, taking the fight to Yoo and catching him backing up in a straight line with his hands down. As soon as he out him on the deck, “Willycat” seized the moment and scored the finish.

That’s now four straight wins for the Chute Boxe Diego Lima representative, who has always been an all-action fighter and entertaining figure inside the Octagon. The bout was fought at a 153-pound catchweight, which takes a little of the juice of Santos’ otherwise stellar performance, but if he can continue turning in performances like this going forward, the finish, and not the weight, will be what everyone remembers most.
