  3. I know the type, my brother in law works for ICE, exactly as you’d imagine. In-laws couldn’t be happier. They’re a native family, even.

    My spouse confronted them about openly supporting him when they’re native and have an LGBT kid and they replied with “well, what can we say?”

    I say “what can we say?” to myself pretty often ever since when I see people justify insanity and choose to be in denial just because it’s less messy that way. Cowards of conscience. We don’t visit anymore. What can we say?

    Not only do the other NAZIs watch as one of them chokes and tackles a civilian who’s just standing there. They then pile on and detain him.

    These people are the enemy. They aren’t fellow citizens. They aren’t even human anymore.

  7. It’s like the Stanford prison experiment. Without proper training, when people are put in charge of other people in a situation like a prison, they almost always resort to cruelty. These men applying for these jobs have very little education. I bet a lot of them can’t be trained to be in charge of criminals, much less innocent immigrants.

  8. I was recently on a work trip and a woman who joined us for lunch was telling everyone about her boyfriend, a former special ops guy, who is joining a county police department. I cringed as she told us how he’s looking forward to the new job.

    Yeah, I bet. The problem in America is having way too many ex soldiers in police departments. They know nothing but force. They were trained to shoot now and ask questions of the corpse later. Every emotion is washed out of their systems. What could possibly go wrong?
