I know it’s a meme, a repost, or maybe even AI. Still, don’t do it.
Yearly raises after taxes amounts to like 100 quid a month for me. Rent goes up annually 150 quid a month, utilities including water, gas, and electric rise around 50 quid a month, groceries are going 5% annually, council tax goes up about 5% annually as well. Along with literally everything else increasing in cost……..the future sucks
Some website tomorrow:
“Why are people not happy?” “Why are younger generations not investing?”
Didn’t say he stopped eating avocado toast, there’s your problem.
Jokes aside, we millennials got gaslit so much into thinking everything was our fault when really, it was the system to blame. Feels vindicating but can’t use that to pay bills
nothing like paying for someone’s retirement
Try renting from your parents; why should I pay anything? It’s ridiculous.
At age 65 Josh has finally saved enough money for a deposit on a house, and he can now look forward to starting a family…
Me: buys house in an outer suburb from a volume builder because it’s all I can afford
Society, apparently: EW A SUBURB I’D RATHER DIE
Friendly neighborhood security enthusiast chiming in with a tip: never post photos of your keys!
Rent going up, mst be those small boats coming over ere , its so obvious 🙂 ,
Yup. Kemi’s solution? Leave ECHR.
Nigel’s solution? Get rid of ILR.
Why is nobody talking about the real issues?
And for those who equate rental rises to immigration:
1. Total rise in rent since 2004: 200%
2. Rise attributed to immigration: 10%
3. Real cause: inflation, greed, policy and cost of resources
Looks like a dollhouse heh
Hi everyone, I was the person who posted this tweet a couple years back, and I actually just moved into a flat I bought. For the security conscious among you, those keys are for a different flat!
It’s time for a British middle-class uprising
my rent just doubled!
some of my neighbours don’t have jobs and live for free
