Bulgarian brothers and sisters, give me your best music!

So, first of all, hello to everyone reading this and greetings from Serbia. This is going to be a wall of text but stay with me.

Some time ago I felt tired of and overwhelmed with English entertainment in general. English TV shows, English music, English movies, I can’t even use my PC on Serbian its also on English, English, English… It seemed like the rest of the world does not exist. So I have begun searching youtube mostly for non-English music that I might like. But the youtube algorithm is of no help because it obviously wants me to listen to the same stuff every single day plus it’s not easy to search for something when you have no idea what you are searching for.

The breaking point happened while I was playing world of tanks and every time a map named Studzianki popped out (and if anyone here plays you can guess where this leads) and a remix of a folk song by [Żywiołak – W moim ogródecku](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=frCTpFM8oLw&ab_channel=LechoS%C5%82aw432Hz). I posted on the Polish subreddit and asked the same question I am asking you now. That took me on a long journey of incredible music and artists that I have never heard of. I posted this same thing in the Polish and Romanian subreddit for now and people were amazing I have found tons of great music that I would otherwise never heard of. It is still difficult for me to look for something when I do not know what I am looking for. That is why my playlist is for now mostly Polish and Romanian songs but I have no intention to stop there. I plan to do this for every country east of Germany and Austria.

To be honest I wanted to do Hungary next but a friend of mine played for me now probably a world-famous remix of Чичовите конье, Sagi Abitbul & Guy Haliva – Stanga (Original Mix) if I’m not mistaken. I have no idea, correct me if I’m wrong maybe it’s not the same song. Anyway now I’m all into Bulgarian music now. I actually found a folk version of Чичовите конье that I really like but it’s available on motherfucking youtube kids so I cant add it to my playlist, now I have to convert it, download it, upload it again and then add it.

Anyway, hit me with your 1.000+ years of history and culture. I like folk songs, I like a cappella, I like folk songs mixed with modern sounds, I like rock n roll, I like anything that has soul in it and you can feel it, I love a good melody. Give me your songs, playlists, suggestions and anything you like I don’t care what it is. I don’t care if the song has 500 or 5.000.000 views, if you like it – link it.

It’s not any kind of almighty musical taste that I’m trying to push onto other people.
