Does anybody here use the Yale alarm solution?
I currently have a poor and simple HKC that does the job but there are no smart functions, so I believe it is time for an upgrade;
Does anybody use the Yale below?

Is it recognised by Irish laws and insurances?

Never tell your insurance company you have an alarm.
its not worth it
Go for an Ajax Alarm.
HomeSecure install them and charge a decent price per month for the monitoring but they do cover the equipment cost with that.
Or else get them from megateh.eu or best-alarm-system-webshop.eu/
One thing I like about Ajax is the multitransmitter can be used to keep all the old wired sensors in use as well as adding smart functionality. This however is not available via HomeSecure. Their installers, or at least some of them, also won’t tidy up the old sensors.
The use of the multi transmitter usually a self install which is complicated or getting someone to do it, which officially, should be a PSA registered contractor.
If you want to go the insurance route you’ll need to get someone verified by PSA (Private Security Authority) to install your system and they typically supply as well so you can talk to them.
HKC also have smart alarms themselves nowadays. Might mean just getting a new board and keeping the rest the same.
I’m more of a Harvard Alahm type of person. More sophisticated.
