Alina Sarnatska: Just yesterday, someone told me to speak less about the war. They said Germans are tired of it. But last night, russian drones flew over Munich airport. So I ask you: do you think today it is acceptable to talk about the war?

>In Ukraine, there were thousands of women who were smarter, more talented, and better than me. They should stand on this stage today. But russia killed them. Some are now in captivity.
>Before the full invasion, I was just a civilian social worker. I never thought I would be a soldier. But I had to go and fight.
>All I want is that German psychologists, teachers, and lawyers never have to go to the army. Never die in war.
>For this, please support Ukraine now.
>Слава Україні

No! They tired our loud dying, it’s disturbing their cats from sleeping!
I don’t think the source of the drones has been identified, it’s extremely unlikely they were Russian drones. Probably local idiots flying small drones, like at other airports.
GLORY TO UKRAINE! 🇺🇦
GOD BLESS HER DEFENDERS!
I have people tell me everyday to be quiet, they just want to get on with life. I am forced to remind them “so do the people of Ukraine”. Keep pushing them. Keep resisting. Keep making noise!
I can assure you there are plenty of germans that support Ukraine (either through voluntary work, finances or political activism). I know our political leaders are hesitant, to the point that you could argue they are spineless cowards and feed our democracy to Putin, but there’s still people out there believing in Ukraine and the EU. But I also know there sadly will be people who see this as warmongering, because their horizon doesn’t expand beyond their garden. She is right to shine a light on that 🇺🇦 🇩🇪
It is acceptable every day.
German here. Not tired. Can’t get enough of those oil refineries.
As a German, I say fuck them! Ukrainians have every right to speak about their struggles for survival and Germans or anyone in the EU and NATO countries have no right to be “tired” of Russian aggression until we’ve put a full stop to Russia killing and threatening Europeans!
Is this really a relevant sentiment about the war? I always felt the Pro-Ukrainian and the Pro-Russian both are quite firm on their position. Haven’t noticed any change for years. Battle of Kyiv and the Butcha massacre were the last major changes.
Any day we live under the tyranny and oppression of a terrorist state is a good day to talk about the war. Slava Ukraini, Heroiam Slava.
People who are saying they are tired of the war are mostly right wing traitors. Fuck them.
