  10. A 22 year old parliamentarian is really impressive. Makes me consider what I’m doing with my life…

  12. And that’s a good thing, because until now it was mostly 50+ men with worries only about personal gain.
    It’s also the most youngest parliament I remember.
    And those womens are mostly involved in important issues like housing, kids, elders and environment.

  20. As I understand it, they are the only party that is fully pro-EU and pro-NATO. That’s very cool.

    It’s a shame that few Czechs understand how positively the EU affects their lives (judging by the polls)

  27. Not sure how it’s in Czech, but in many countries parties are looking to get a 1/3-1/2 male-female ratio.

    Currently it’s basically the golden age for young women to get into politics. Old men won’t go away, but new vacancies on lists will mostly be filled by young women outside of nepo.

  38. What can you possibly know about an individual by 22? They lived the vast majority of their life under the care of someone else or within the walls of university. They have little practical experience, just theory. They were elected solely on an idea or aspiration, which is dangerous. Disruptive forces love the young and impressionable, as they are easily swayed and manipulated by their often unrealistic aspirations.
