Prince William’s candidness is apparently causing some severe tension between him and King Charles. In fact, they’re allegedly no longer talking, and it’s making the Palace insiders worry like crazy.

Rob Shuter of #ShuterScoop recently revealed that William and Charles are no longer on speaking terms, all because of William’s appearance on Eugene Levy’s Apple TV+ show, The Reluctant Traveler. (For those who don’t know, Shuter is a journalist and gossip columnist, who now runs his own Substack where he dishes on celebrity-based news he gets from inside sources.)

Allegedly, Charles is livid about the candid interview, with a palace insider saying: “The King sees it as betrayal, not honesty. It’s not just family tension — it’s about the Crown itself.”

Now, why is Charles so peeved? Well, in the interview, he talked about how 2024 was the most challenging year of his life due to his dad’s and his wife, Kate Middleton’s, cancer diagnoses, but he praised both of their strengths amid the horrendously hard time for their family.

But apparently, saying he wants not to make the same mistakes as his parents did with their divorce, and all the media scrutiny, may have been what bruised Charles’ ego. That, as well as saying he wants to make changes “for good” when he eventually becomes King.

While it was all relatively tame insight, it has the inside of the palace becoming frosty central.
