Glenn Coldenhoff will not be competing today in the 2025 Motocross of Nations, which is being held at Ironman Raceway (United States).

The Dutch rider and his team did everything possible to get him ready to compete, but in the end he did not pass the medical examination carried out this morning.

Coldenhoff suffered a heavy fall during the MXGP qualifying round after colliding with another rider’s bike, which required the intervention of the track medical team. Although subsequent tests ruled out any fractures, persistent pain and discomfort prevented him from being cleared to race.

The situation is reminiscent of what happened in the 2023 edition in Ernée, where he was also a last-minute withdrawal. As a result, the Netherlands is left with only Calvin Vlaanderen and Kay de Wolf, forced to carry a 37-point penalty from the first race, which seriously complicates their chances in the overall standings.
