  1. Olsen:

    >”I thought that I was in an ensemble cast, and I thought that I was one of the good guys. And then three weeks before I was sent to London, they said, ‘You’re our lead villain!’ And I had no clue. And I finished filming WandaVision, I was like, ‘Huh, it would’ve been helpful to know that,’ just so I could have pulled the thread through a bit. But I think that the story told itself, and I was able to kind of massage things in Doctor Strange to hopefully tell a different story for her.”

    >Olsen emphasized that these larger storylines in the MCU aren’t pitched to her – so each project she’s in, she takes one story at a time. This is why she was in the dark about where Wanda would end up in the Doctor Strange sequel.

  2. Why are the actors getting scripts with so little time before production begins

  3. I walked out of this movie. First time I’ve ever done that. It was terrible.

  4. She’s being professional in her interviews and panels, but I get the impression she’s fatigued with Marvel the more I hear about her experiences behind the scenes. I can’t blame her.

  5. I don’t blame her because her turn is completely out of fucking nowhere

  6. It’s pretty obvious when you watch the movie lol it’s a complete mess

  7. I love how in the final ending, she dies…but _there’s no body._ Maybe it will never happen, but I’d love to see the Scarlet Witch again.

  8. Just reverses everything that happened in wandavision… processing grief and her anger and like nope that’s outdoor womp womp…

  9. I like the idea of preparing your character to be the hero, because it helps justify your actions. Villains don’t think they are villains. They think of themselves the heroes of their story.

  10. It’s pretty common knowledge that most movies in the MCU after/around end game were/are produced without finished scripts.

Most actors have no idea what the work is for the day until they show up on set and receive the sides (pages) they’ll be working off, and even those are likely to be changed on the spot.

  11. I hated it. She was outright evil in that one, not just misguided or in pain. And that didn’t fit for me at all.
