Tory leader’s call for UK to exit human rights convention ‘very worrying’, Sinn Féin says

1. Nothing will change until we leave the ECHR and replace it with a reformed British bill of rights that ensures in clear wording that migrants cannot use bullshit loopholes and technicalities to escape being deported

   The ECHR is nothing but a crutch for migrants to fall back onto when our own courts tell them they have no right to be here

   Well, that is when our own judges aren’t sympathetically biased in their favour

2. Getting rid of the ECHR won’t stop immigrants……. They will then be able to rely on the 1951 refuge convention or the UN convention against torture or the Nationality immigration and asylum act 2002 just to name a few…… so legal obstacles would still remain in place to challenge deportations.

3. If we deny refugee rights by leaving the EHCR there’s a plethora of rights bills that come next, all backing the rights of people in the absolute shit.

   Imagine, just fucking this stupidity off, embracing the fact we need immigration to do the jobs most of us aren’t willing to do, and getting on with it.

4. The tories are thick, ill informed, it’s like all that expensive private education was pointless.

   It will be nice if the Conservatives ever get their act together and engage a brain cell. It doesn’t really matter at the moment anyway, because they’re just happy to batter themselves into obscurity.

7. Why are these ill-informed people still calling for the withdrawal from the ECHR when they bloody well know that it can’t be done?

   It will unravel the GFA which the EU and the US are guarantors for. So, the Tories are advocating that the EU and US apply sanctions on us. Are they out of their mind? These are the dipshits you want in power along with Reform who want the same thing?

8. Anyone else always think that Sinn Fein is a person rather than a political party ?

9. Is this the same Sinn Fein who criticised the UK government for making missiles in Northern Ireland to sell to Ukraine to defend themselves? The same Sinn Fein who basically glaze Russia before 2022 on their website before doing a wipe when Russia did the full invasion?

10. Did the shinners care about the human rights of the children they bombed?

11. What on earth is going on, feels like every day I’m seeing wild policies being thrown out there, across the political spectrum
