1. Ukraine is literally fighting the cold war axis for us. Russia, China, North Korea, Cuba. Just need to add Veitnam.

4. So disappointed in Cuba. Been like 5 times, travelled the island all the way to Baracoa, got married there in 05. Sad. Glad I was there when it was an amazing time/place.

5. The normal Cuban people could not care less about Russia or Ukraine and have probably been promised money and food as their situation at home is so desperate. The Russians will put them on the front lines and use them as cannon fodder.

6. Ukraine understands the propaganda game. Im calling bullshit! Ukraine needs fighters. This type of article is aimed at motivating people to send their children to ukraine to help the cause. Russia has a military with 1.5 million soldiers. If there are “thousands” of cubans in ukraine fighting against them, show some proof! According to the propaganda machine, russia is loosing thousands of soldiers/day. Over a million in total. if thats the case, the cubans would be on the front lines fighting. There should be some proof other than a list, coming from the ukraine. Where is the proof? Dead cubans?

7. Ukraine has thousands of foreign fighters as well. Not an uncommon thing in war.

9. The US has all but forced Cuba to remain Russia’s ally for decades now. Hardly surprising they act like it.

10. My wife and her friends visited Cuba last year, the country is nearly bankrupt. Any Cubans fighting in Russia are doing it for the money.
