What’s happening to the US? Are all these problems simply a reflection of an economy that doesn’t serve the needs of most Americans?

Yes its a distraction so politicians cannot be held to account
No, its a reflection of trump trying to test his power before he tries to use that power to become a dictator.
Also the economy has nothing to do with it. Its a reflection of our GOVERNMENT not serving the needs of the American people.
Release the Epstein files
Around 70 million Americans couldn’t care less about the economy, their biggest concern is whether or not trans people can serve in the military and denying their kids vaccines.
This what happens when you elect corrupt political politicians and give them complete control of all three branches of government; They tend to put their party’s needs ahead of the countries. Also, the party is being run by a cult like authoritarian figure who doesnt want to abide by the laws in the constitution.
No it’s a reflection of a man that is desperately trying to keep himself out of jail.
Despite Trump’s promised cuts, U.S. spent more than $200 billion more in first 100 days. He hurt America 100 ways in 100 days.
This is a country that serves the whims of the very most wealthy and powerful, the rest of us be damned.
We were TOLD it’s a democracy but everyone is by now wise to the lie that bring able to choose between candidates that are already completely vetted by the ultra powerful isn’t democracy; it’s just validation that their propaganda is effective.
Drums are beating Ike they did at OHIO.
This is america. A empire collapsing because of rampant capitalism abuse.
Workers have no money or power while the rich horde resources. Orange nazi and Co are squeezing what’s left of a dried up lemon and there ain’t much.
We wont survive this. What comes from the aftermath may resemble the European union. Separate country states with a collective economic agenda when it suits and invidvidualism everywhere else.
Some states will be absorbed. Think broke red states having to be absorbed by less nearby red states to be solvent. But the absorption will make these units less ideal places to live. While places like California will thrive and no doubt have little skirmishes with jealous states.
The experiment is over.
Ignorance and money killed it.
It’s a clear authoritarian regime. Plain and simple.
Those who deny it…..back it up with receipts.
Roman republic ends, Roman empire arise
The Golden Arches in the background make this photo. Chef’s kiss. Insane country you guys have got there.
History repeats
A certain group of people feel cucked because the us had a mixed black man as president, and a mixed black woman as vice president. Now they must reclaim their country and punish brown people and anyone who doesn’t believe America should be a white ethno state.
The current economy is just another casualty. Flexing muscles and thumping chest are more important
No, these problems are a reflection of small government libertarian-minded conservatives seeking to use the military to harm people who disagree with them.
I think the economy is back of mind for these folks.
America is overthinking this… America elected a fascist government… this is it…
More a reflection of of fascism. We haven’t seen the bulk of economic issues yet. But the administration knows they will happen so they’re trying to bulk up now
Here’s a good article that describes how wealth inequality fuels political disintegration and how to escape the “end times.”
Hundreds of societies have been in crises like ours. An expert explains how they got out.
An analysis of historical crises over the past 2,000 years offers lessons for avoiding the end times.
By Peter Turchin.
He uses a term **“Wealth Pump” to describe a set of conditions — economic and political — that transfer wealth from the broad base of the population to the elite, a small proportion of people who concentrate power in their hands.**

read/watch Dalio’s Principals. As empires mature, money printing starts to get out of hand, which exacerbates income inequality. The peoples respond with revolution—fascism/communism/etc. What we’re seeing is something that’s been years in the making. The 2016 election should have been a wake up call but instead Democrats responded with business as usual.
IMO it’s not yet the end of the American empire. It all depends on how the American public will respond.
It’s simply a reflection of letting a sociopath with dementia become president again instead of putting him in prison where he belongs.
Release the Epstein files!
No it’s a reflection of all the racists we have
These are the extremist Christians doing this in power who don’t actually follow the Bible
