I think it’s more important than ever that we and the media draw a clear distinction between “The Jewish Community” and “Political Zionists”, even if those two circles overlap a lot.
It’s unfair to the Jewish Community to assume they’re all aligned, as a bloc, with the actions of a foreign power because of their ethno-religious identity, and it’s also cynically deployed to conflate criticism of zionism with anti-semitism.
If you boo at someone for talking about peace and arguing that people don’t deserve to die whether they support isreal or palestine, then you are a monster and I don’t know what we need to do with you in a civil society
The media and politicians need to do a better job at distinguishing between “Jewish Zionists” and “the Jewish community”. If someone is stood there holding a giant fuck off Israeli flag that’s probably a good indication that they may have some other opinions worth parsing.

If protesting genocide bothers you, you are pro-genocide. He was invited to offer condolences for the terror attack and thought advocating for a Hamas state while the bodies are still warm and while hostages still languish in Gaza was a good idea.
How was that relevant or appropriate?
