Moien everyone,

I work at Uni lu and help organise the UniverCity Talks series: open, interactive discussions between researchers and the public.

The next one, Towards Greener Cities, is on Tuesday 21 October at Tero House 17 in Luxembourg City centre.

This session’s about how cities can grow while staying sustainable – reusing building materials rather than demolishing, fitting solar and new energy systems into neighbourhoods, and rethinking how urban spaces can support a more sustainable future.

There are two panellists from the Uni who are experts in geography / urban planning and engineering, and one panellist who is the chief architect of Luxembourg City.

After the roundtable, there’s a small networking part with drinks and bites.

It’s free and in English, you just need to register first.

If you’re curious about how cities like Luxembourg are adapting to greener urban life, might be worth dropping by!

  1. Invite the mayor. So many public spaces were renovated with no greenery whatsoever.
