  1. The fleeing bit in the end sort of reminds me of cats when they lazily lay around somewhere, and are instantly spooked.

Other than that. Feels like a scene from a war movie by Tarantino or Ritchie

  2. This is comical in such an absurd way. Hundreds of people dying in this war every day and here I am grinning like an idiot behind my computer screen.

  3. Can’t help imagining the drone operators looking at the screen, drinking a coffee and thinking: any second now. Come on, do Something stupid.

  4. Why can’t they explode it remotely? It seems it would be better to be able to pick your time.

  5. Kinda stuff you see in movies with the soldiers unsuspectingly checking the drone out not knowing it’s gonna blow

  6. Self destruct? I doubt that, more like they landed and rode it to the resupply to try and get a bigger target there. last shot is filmed from higher in the sky as well, so they took off at the end, maybe tried to hit some targets but the fade out makes me think it wasn’t as succesful as the title would have us think.

  7. Why is the first instinct always to approach and hit the drones with sticks lol

  8. A shorter clip from the drone landed on the Buk was previously posted.

The drone didn’t self destruct, it was parked on the truck to make sure the Ukrainian team didn’t lose track of it while it was moving at night. It was eventually destroyed by a second heavy lift drone. Maybe the Russians scattering at the end hear the second drone approaching.

Edit: actually this appears to be a second occurance of the same tactic of landing a drone on a vehicle to track its location. As other commentators pointed out, the vehicle is different between the two videos. These Ukrainian drone operators are mad lads.

  9. videos from lasar group is rare. they are one of best drone units ukraine have in par with magyar. but they dont do crowdfund so they rare publish videos.
they are funded by some powerfull and rich people in ukraine. or as a guy explained to somebody with very deep pockets. tho refused to said who.

a guy who run it Lasar was tv producer before the war. its strange how casual people like magyar ( agrotrader) or lasar can become ace in drone tech.

  10. They couldn’t have chosen any better music than Riders on the Storm

  11. Hitting things with sticks must be in the training manual, whether it’s drones or their own soldiers…
