Hi all,
Yesterday I was walking by Greenwich and saw old cars and people in vintage clothes by Old Royal Naval College.

  1. Are they still there? There’s usually someone standing around the edge of the shoot you can ask.

  2. A planned World War II espionage action-adventure film by Simon West (director of *Con Air* and *Tomb Raider*) tentatively titled **”Fortitude”** or *Op-Fortitude*.

They had signage up, which is unusual. Sometimes the security staff are instructed not to tell anyone.

  3. That part of Greenwich is a popular replacement for central London in da movies. Too popular!

  4. It’s a shot from when they go back in time. It’s a new movie called ‘The three cunts that find a time machine’

  5. Ask one of the crew members? Or someone who works at the royal naval college might know.

  6. That’s so cool you spotted that. I saw the signs for “Fortitude” yesterday and was wondering what it was all about. A WWII spy film directed by the guy from Con Air sounds like it could be really fun. Can’t wait to see how they use the location.

  7. Think that’s Farage’s motor in pic 3, might be something to do with that?

  8. Studied at Trinity Laban in that building; was always a nightmare trying to get in for classes around the regular active film sets. Cool to see the finished films though!

  9. Pretty sure two new peaky blinders shows are in production possibly. I believe the setting is during/right after war if I am remembering the post correctly

  10. As if anyone would see a swastika and mistake it for some far right biz. Fairly sure no one’s daft enough to either do that or think that?

Regardless it looks like summat I’m gunna watch (history geek) That operation was so far out, the games they played and all, you read it and think “never, no fing way?!” But it worked. Left rommels division days away from being able to engage the landings. Worth reading up on if your into your history.

  11. I’m studying here. Can confirm that it’s WW2 related, called Fortitude and featuring Hollywood stars. We got an email about swastikas.

  12. I saw a sign next to the big ben bridge saying ‘filming in progress please don’t interrupt’ and it was people sitting like a class photo with lamps and stuff

  13. For you Tommy, the war is never, ever over. Ya?

    now, again,

    but in a german accent
