Hi, I got this puukko-knife from my father when I turned 10 many years ago and although it's pretty much non-functionable, it was according to my father a knife that was given to him by his father (or my grandfather). I wonder is there any way to estimate the age of this puukko?

  2. Look carefully for a marking, probably text but could be a makers mark. Unless its been sanded off, there will be one.

  3. can you post close up picture of the sheath and the blade?

    edit: its most likely Kauhava souvenir puukko.
    Dont know the exact year but 1940-1965
