FLINT, Mich. — Consumers Energy is set to interrupt power for nearly 2,900 customers Tuesday night into Wednesday morning while they perform work on a substation.
The utilities company says customers in the areas: South of the Flint River, North of Corunna Road, East of I-75 and West of Springer Avenue could see interruptions.
Consumers Energy says interruption will start at 11:30 p.m. Tuesday and last until as late as 7:30 a.m. Wednesday. If the work can’t be performed as planned, the backup will be the following night.
The interruption was previously scheduled to be performed on Monday night but was pushed back due to weather conditions.
