Former Geneva mayor Rémy Pagani, 71, is in prison in Israel with other activists from the Gaza flotilla. His lawyer is concerned about his state of health and access to his medications, despite assurances from the FDFA on the health of Swiss detainees.

  1. Beside Rémy Pagani, 9 other Swiss are still in Iraeli jails. 9 have been freed last weekend, and in total 138 members of the flotilla are still held.

  2. crazy how people react to one of their fellow citizens being illegaly kidnapped in international waters while trying to deliver life saving food for a starving population etc and you still try to paint him as the bad guy.

  3. Seems like such a strange vlunder from Israel. The only thing they had to do was to send the protesters back without  touching a hair on their head — curbing most of the narrative of the protesters. But now they seem eager to proof them right.

  4. If he wants to go to gaza so badly the israelis should let him go, this guy will win darwin awards

  5. Millionaires going by boat around cause they are too bored ahahah

  6. When Libya took 2 of our citizens hostage for over a year before their abhorrent regime fell, this is all we were talking about.

There is barely a pip about this.

  7. 😢 Israel once again showing they have no morals. Free the hostages from the IOF 🙏

  8. Doesn’t sound like the full story. They deported people from countries that have no diplomatic relations but he’s still stuck? Sounds like he refused to sign his papers which means it’s part of the grift.

  9. I mean its not that it was widespread announced what will happen to the floating moral superiast… play stupid games, win stupid prices… and i would bet that he will have access to his medication and he will be free within a couple of weeks after he learned his lesson

  10. I mean, he knew this would happen with a 99.99% chance when he left Switzerland, so yea, gg

  11. It’s disgusting that our country bends a knee to Israel to the point that it refuses to make escalate this into a full blown diplomatic issue.

  12. Is this a example of the consequences of their actions? I’m not socialist enough to think that if you take this kind of decision yourself, freeing you in your country’s responsability.

  13. Crazy how the mods in this sub don’t moderate the amount of foreign bots trying to push Israeli agenda. They have literally kidnapped Swiss citizens and not a peep!

  14. Hasbara in full force here.

For the non bots, I hope one day you are treated the way Isr*el treats Palestinians.

  15. Hopefully this will make more Swiss people care about the genocide.
