Fernando Fitz-James Stuart y de Solís, 17th Duke of Huéscar, and Sofía Palazuelo Barroso were married at the Liria Palace in Madrid on October 6, 2018. The ceremony was a high-profile event attended by Spanish royalty and high-society guests, with an outdoor reception following at the 18th-century family estate.

The groom wore the uniform of the Royal Cavalry Armory of Seville and the bride wore a dress made by her aunt, fashion designer Teresa Palazuelo.

Among the guests were Queen Sofia of Spain, members of the House of Alba, the Tsar of Bulgaria or spanish designer Ágatha Ruiz de la Prada.

The couple is still married and has three children (2 girls and 1 boy): Rosario, Sofía and Fernando.

  1. They look lovely but her dress looks very…plain? The sleeves remind me of a t-shirt.

  2. He certainly looks from Spain. Idk how to explain it.

Carlos Sainz from F1 looks similar.

    Spaniard.

  3. I’ve seen “godmother of the wedding” on other posts about Spanish weddings – is this a local tradition?

  4. So a real life Princess Eric from Little Mermaid.

  5. I can see the English genetics in his face structure and eyes! I actually think he resembles the Windsors.

  6. They are honestly a stunning couple. Why do men always get the best hair???
